HEL Performance Brakelines Update
by Ronald on Feb.20, 2011, under Garage
It was time to put in our brakelines. We custom made these lines ourselves (as we are official HEL production facility). All standard metal lines are in the trashcan, we replaced the full lines from brake cilinder to the actual brakes. We use our special Project DC5 Orange colored braided lines with stainless steel HEL Bolts/Banjo’s.
Brakes & Front Arms Installed
by Ronald on Feb.20, 2011, under Garage
We installed these parts some weeks ago, but since the wheels were mounted as well, we could not take pictures of it. But now we could! You can also see the Buddyclub P1 Roll Centers and the Ultra Racing Swaybar with Hardrace endlinks.

Showoff Imports now official RC Engineering Dealer
by Ronald on Feb.20, 2011, under Garage, General
We recently installed our brand new 650CC Injectors from RC-Engineering. From now on you can also order your injectors from Showoff Imports.nl. We use 650CC to make sure enough E85 will be injected in our engine!
Some extra interior parts installed.
by Ronald on Feb.13, 2011, under Garage
This weekend we started working on the brakelines. HEL Brakelines has a special ORANGE colored brakeline that we use. We also installed the hydrylic handbrake (Six performance), the short shift system (Buddyclub) and a brake force distributor.
Next week we will make the brakelines. Since Showoff Imports is a official HEL Brakelines production facility and distributor, this shouldn’t be that difficult for us
Wires, Wires and more Wires…
by Ronald on Feb.13, 2011, under Garage
The last couple of weeks we have been working on the wiring. We first had the idea to use the original wire-loom and remove all wires we did not need. After cleaning up this loom for days and days, we decided to get rid off everything (wires, fuse boxes, relais, etc) and start all over! We just installed the engine harness and cut off all ECU wires! Thanks to electronical specialist Remco we now almost have a brand new electrical/wiring plan and schematics ready. Our mechanic Toine got us a new fuse/relais box and next week our ECU will be back in with Hondata installed, so then we can start the new wiring!
Water Pump / Power Steering / Alternator
by Ronald on Feb.13, 2011, under Garage
We removed all belt driven parts from the engine: The airco pump, the water pump and the hydralic power steering:
- Water pump is replaced by a Mezeire electrical pump. This is mounted on the K-Tuned Blockoff plate (where the original water pump was installed).
- Airco: Duh… removed forever
- Power steering: We removed this as well, replaced by a electric power steering rack from the EP3.
- Alternator: Also removed and replaced by a brand new alternator from a B16 Engine.
More picture will follow soon when we got all other parts to finish our plumbing part of the project
